JULIA MUNROW - Actor

Julia is an actor/writer and director of A Drunken Sailor Theatre Company.

​

Julia played secretary to the KGB chief, Vassiliev in Luc Besson’s ANNA (Lionsgate), Queen Elizabeth II in the BBC drama LOVE AGAIN, and Lesley in EMMERDALE (Yorkshire TV).

​

In theatre she has worked for Alan Ayckbourn’s company (LIFE AND BETH) New Vic Theatre (HUMBLE BOY) Brighton Theatre Royal/ Barbican (UNDERGROUND) and played Gertrude in HAMLET (Harrogate Theatre) and Beatrice in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (Mark Rylance’s Original Shakespeare Company).

BRADLEY BENJAMIN – Actor

Bradley is a London actor, born and bred in the East end of London. He trained at The Academy drama School in Whitechapel, where he played Benedick in Helen Alexander’s production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.

​

After graduating, he was cast as The Hound in THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES at The Brockley Jack, and played the lead role, Robert Jnr, in CHAV SCUM KILLS GOD at the Courtyard Theatre.

​

Bradley has appeared in KING LEAR, alongside actor Ian Linsey, also at The Jack, and has played an array of East End Hard-men in short films and theatre. He’s also appeared in music videos for the KAISER CHIEFS.

CHARLES ANGIAMA – Actor

Charles is a highly experienced actor with numerous stage and screen appearances to his credit.

​

His recent screen work includes an episode of TELL ME EVERYTHING (ITV 2) the film OBA, episodes of the sitcom BLOODS Series 2 (Sky TV) and THE B@IT (Channel 4).

​

Charles filmed a music video with ‘Naves’ for the track BELIEVE ME.

​

He has appeared in many corporate films and commercials, most recently seen preparing for a BBQ for ICELAND, as the Birthday Man suffering commissary for PURPLE BRICKS and as a Dealer for SUZUKI SWIFT.

​

Most recent theatre includes playing the Brother in THE ROYAL CHRISTMAS PUDDING (The Story Museum, Oxford), Friar Tuck in ROBIN HOOD (Hazlitt Productions), Harry Eckles/Journalist in TONY! THE TONY BLAIR ROCK OPERA, written by Harry Hill & Steve Brown (Park Theatre, London), Ignatius Sancho in a new folk musical THE POCKET, and BRIEF ENCOUNTER (Watermill Theatre, Newbury). Other highlights include the London and Manchester productions of C-O-N-T-A-C-T, an innovative 2-hander which incorporated the use of app technology within performance; two productions of ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS (Torch Theatre, Milford Haven) and the lead role of Delbert Tibbs in a compelling and moving production of THE EXONERATED at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester.

He is thrilled to be reunited with Helen who he first met many years ago at Drama School and to be working on such an exciting project with her.

PIPPA CADDICK – Actor

Pippa is a British-American actor, who trained at The Drama Studio, London, following a history degree from the University of York.

​

Selected Theatre credits include: Aurora in RICKY RIDDLEGANG AND THE RIDDLEGANG (Edinburgh Rose Theatre & touring), Viola in TWELFTH NIGHT, Desdemona in OTHELLO (both Upstairs at The Gatehouse), Gloria in AWAKE AND ASLEEP (Treadwells), Carol in THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE (Arcola), Isabella in VENEZIA: THE SHOW (Teatro San Gallo, Venice), and appeared in two of her own self-penned shorts: SALAMANDERS and MAN IN THE MOON (Arcola).

​

Recent screen work includes leads in forthcoming feature films, THE TESTING POINT and WITCHES OF GOD. Pippa was the lead in interactive video game THE BIG QUESTION, and can be heard in podcasts and video games.

CIARAN CORSAR – Actor

Ciaran trained at The Academy Drama School and Royal Holloway University, London.

​

Having worked in London, and throughout the UK on tour, he decided to risk it all and whisked himself off to Germany and Switzerland to experience life anew. Here he worked with The English Theatre, Düsseldorf; Shakespeare, Frankfurt; Zürich English Speaking Theatre (ZEST); and The White Rabbit Theatre Co, Winterthur.

​

On his return to the UK, Ciaran made his home in Bristol and quickly established his own theatre company, Misplaced. Focusing on mature actors, the company has now produced DECADENCE (Berkoff), A LIFE IN THE THEATRE (Mamet), TENDER NAPALM (Ridley), and an evening of classic Shakespeare scenes and Sonnets in the stunning Bristol venue, The Mount Without.

​

Recently Ciaran has worked with Greedy Pig Theatre Co in their production of SPOIL ME and multiroled his way as Dad/Dodo/The Duchess/Mock Turtle/King of Hearts in Whimsico Theatre’s ESCAPE TO WONDERLAND.

​

He is currently preparing his role as Captain McCroker in THE DEMETER (BoogieNachts Theatre) and reprising the role of John in A LIFE IN THE THEATRE, with his own Misplaced.

​

Ciaran is incredibly excited to be involved in THE WEYARD SISTERS and the work of Effemera Theatre.

JAN SHEPHERD – Actor

Jan’s career spans Film, TV, Theatre and Radio.

​

Film work includes – Charlotte in Multi Award winning – CRISPS AND ZOMBIES, Jane in AN ADMIN WORKER AT THE END OF THE WORLD, and Jean in NON-GATED COMMUNITY.

​

TV work includes – Claire in GUERILLA with Idris Elba.

​

Theatre - in the UK and Overseas – in and off the West End – including Benedict Cumberbatch’s HAMLET at The Barbican, A SMALL FAMILY BUSINESS (Ayckbourn) at The National, Helena & Emilia in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM & OTHELLO (USA Tours), FLARE PATH (Rattigan) Directed by Trevor Nunn at The Haymarket, and The Wicked Stepmother in CINDERELLA at Aberdeen Theatre Royal. Jan has also appeared in THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES (Eve Ensler) and CALENDAR GIRLS (Tim Firth) both West End & UK Tours, and many Shakespeare productions including MACBETH, THE DREAM and KING LEAR. Many moons ago, at The man in the Moon, Jan played Sylvia in Helen Alexander’s production of THIS HAPPY BREED (Coward).

Radio – Jan featured in A TALE OF TWO CITIES Aleppo and London BBC Radio.
